The 13th International Exhibition in Vietnam on Telecommunications and Information Technology ('Vietnam Telecomp 2010') / Vietnam International Internet & IT Exhibition 2010 ('Vietnam Internet & IT 2010') / International Exhibition on Electronics Products in Vietnam 2010 ('Vietnam Electronics 2010') will be staged during November 17-20, 2010 in the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. These concurrent fairs are expected to occupy about 9,000 square meters of exhibition space and; gather over 200 local and international exhibitors. They will provide opportunities for business negotiations for professionals in the telecommunications, Internet, IT and electronics industries.

Since the debut in 1992, Vietnam Telecomp and Vietnam Electronics are well known and supported by both the local and overseas industry players including operators, vendors, manufacturers and end users. Introduction of "Vietnam Internet & IT 2010" aims at expanding the exhibition scope to serve the "convergence" trend and development of the ICT and broadcasting industries.

Besides Information & Public Relations Center of Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., Vietnam Association of Information Processing (VAIP) also serves as the Joint Organizer of the events. By combining the strengths of each party, the three Joint Organizers are dedicated to stage a remarkable technological and business exchange platform for ICT industry players home and abroad.

In addition, it is of the greatest honor to have National Steering Committee on ICT and Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) being the events' Steering Organization and Main Sponsor respectively. The Ministry has formulated the country's 10-year ICT Plan to build Vietnam a strong ICT nation in the region by 2020. Currently, growth of Internet users has achieved 100% in 4-year period in Vietnam and the country becomes the 15th globally in 2010 Connectivity Scorecard.

With the staging of the new show, the scope of exhibits will also be expanded and enriched to cover "Broadband, Wireless & Fixed Network Convergence", "Managed Services, Customer Care & Management System", "Unified Infrastructure and Relating Equipment", "Fiber Optic Communications / Photonics / Optoelectronics", "Games, Digitainment and Multimedia", "Broadcasting and Digitalization" "Enterprise Application Software", "Web 2.0 & Social Networking', 'e-Commerce', 'Internet Security', "Computer and peripherals", "Personal digital equipment and peripherals" as well as "Green IT", etc.

Besides the exhibition, high-level concurrent symposium will be held concurrently for industry players to discuss the industry's hottest issues. Major symposium themes in plan include: Vietnam ICT Development Today and Tomorrow; Internet Application in 3G Era and the Exploration of New Business Mode; The Beginning of a New Digital Entertainment Era; Innovative Technology in Mobile Internet and its Business Opportunities, etc.

Singapore, France, China and Taiwan will once again organize pavilions in the events. They will be bringing many medium companies to Vietnam. In order to maximum their participation effectiveness, the Organizers will provide unique business consultation services at the fairground to assist them in searching target business partners, evaluating the product potential and market channels. Besides, a series of new activities will be held before and during the show to maximize the interaction between the exhibitors and visitors.
